The Vulcan Myo Band is a wearable device that uses EMG sensors to enable intuitive control of the Vulcan prosthetic arm. It translates signals from residual muscles into responsive movements of the hand.
Users contract and relax muscles in their residual limbs, detected by the Myo Band, to open and close the Vulcan prosthetic arm.
The battery charge can last up to 7 hours, depending on usage frequency.

Fitting And Support

After an online consultation, the process involves three steps: 

  • An offline appointment to make the socket (1 day)
  • Socket testing
  • Fitting day, where the Vulcan Hand is installed and training is provided.
