I sadly have to give up going to the gym and doing sporty stuff since my accident 9 years ago. Dũng once dreamt of being an actor since he was young, however, after an accident in 2020 that took Dung his right hand, he felt his life was already over. In 2021, Dung found Vulcan and started shooting some videos with the help of his Vulcan arm. Now, he is a famous KOL with millions of views and just made his debut in a Vietnamese movie recently.”

In 2023, Nut discovered Vulcan after seven years without an artificial hand following an accident. With the support of his Vulcan hand, he couldn’t be happier to have a better life quality. Now, Nut effortlessly carries heavy boxes and serves customers at the coffee shop where he works. The Vulcan hand also enables him to do daily household chores with confidence and actively participate in meetings with friends.”

Thùy was born with birth defects, growing up being a shy girl who rarely goes out or makes new friends. Since wearing a Vulcan arm, she feels much more confident and empowered. She stopped trying to cover her limb difference and started pursuing personal hobbies and opening herself up for relationships in life.”

Dũng lost his hand in the 1990s due to a mine explosion. He has tried wearing a few prosthetic arms, including cosmetic prosthetics and mechanical prosthetics which he found not convenient and comfortable to use in daily life. He started wearing the Vulcan arm in 2020 and has since become a big fan. He uses it to drive a motorbike – take his grandkids to school – help his wife with cooking, fix stuff around the house, and even did haircuts for his family members during covid lockdown period.”
